The Idea

A studio shoot that highlights in the most simplistic of ways, childhood aspiration, dreams and imagination. We used simple household items as the main props of the shoot to create the kid’s “hero” identity and for other shots of aspiration we dressed the kids up in costumes that exaggerated their grown-up desires. The photographer’s clean crisp lighting worked well with the hyper-styled concept.

The Background

An ongoing trend has been toward kids being more entrepreneurial and more in power at a younger age than ever before. Being exposed to more information via the Internet and TV gives today’s youth accessibility to almost anything their hearts desire and fuels them with knowledge and inspiration to achieve their dreams. We wanted to highlight this idea with imagery that illustrates great determination, imagination and self-confidence.
