We are looking for a studio manager to join our expanding stock content agency, responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day running of the Creative Studio; managing all studio operations, making full use of project management and collaboration tools (diary and booking management).
- Managing all budgets and invoices, along with financial tracking and controls.
- Efficiently managing the studio time and schedule, in accordance with the budget and requirements.
- Assisting on creative production when needed and meeting with team members for feedback.
- Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows, to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery.
- Source and manage local suppliers, catering, lighting, props and equipment hire
- Promotes and sells studio space for external functions and creative projects and supports with studio marketing.
- Account management – “front of house” and liaison to colleagues and external clients and partners, assisting with project budgets and resourcing.
- Flexibility in working hours, depending on events and projects taking place within studio space.
- Keeping studio clean, freshly painted and well-stocked.
- Ensuring all equipment is well maintained and safety inspected.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
- Good at building relationships to balance the client, the work and the team.
- Flexible in the management of multiple projects, deadlines and budgets, ability to plan and prioritise
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Strong and confident communicator (verbal and written)
- Skilled in project management, desirable but not essential
- Strong team working skills, good at collaboration
- Experience working within a creative discipline or studio management is preferred
- Account management experience is preferred
- Confidence to manage and take on the role with enthusiasm
- Enjoys working with people and learning new skills as the role develops
